Asia Society
Asia Society is a leading global and pan-Asian organization working to strengthen relationships and promote better understanding among leaders, the public, and institutions of the United States and Asia. It seeks to increase knowledge, enhance dialogue, encourage creative expression, and generate new ideas across the fields of arts, culture, policy, business, and education. Kumi Sato, CEO and president of COSMO serves as Co-Chair of the Asia Society Global Council.
American Chamber of Commerce in Japan
Established in 1948 by representatives of 40 American firms, the ACCJ, a fully independent chamber of commerce, has grown into one of the most influential business organizations in Japan, with more than 2,700 members representing more than forty countries and 1,000 companies. Kumi Sato, CEO and president of COSMO is serving as Chairman of the ACCJ for 2011.
Medical Journalists Association of Japan
The MJAJ was established in 1987 by a volunteer group of journalists with interest in areas of medical science, medicine and health. The Association became an NPO certified by the Japanese Government in 2006.
The mission of the association is to enhance the quality of reports by medical journalists and communicators, to deepen insight and knowledge in the fields of medical science and healthcare, and to strengthen the science and diversification of medicine as a whole. The association provides a forum for gathering and exchanging information among members and organizations. COSMO has been serving as Secretariat of the MJAJ for 15 years.
Biocube
Biocube was established by COSMO PR as a healthcare think tank. As well as carrying out healthcare consulting work, Biocube also invites key opinion leaders from within the healthcare field to take part in regular study groups on the topics of medical affairs, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical treatments.
The Genron NPO
The Genron NPO, designated as a specified public-interest corporation, was established in November 2001 as a private, not-for-profit, and independent think tank dedicated to creating a forum for serious debate on Japan's political, diplomatic, economic and social issues from the viewpoint of independent-minded citizens.
The Board Director Training Institute of Japan (BDTIJ)
The Board Director Training Institute of Japan (BDTI) is a non-profit incorporated association dedicated to improving corporate governance and related management processes in Japan. BDTI’s primary mission is to train directors, statutory auditors and managers regarding corporate governance and effective board practices.
