Roll Up Your Sleeves, Japan! Campaign reclaimed the Guinness World Record

Roll Up Your Sleeves, Japan! Campaign reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the most numbers of blood pressure reading in 24 hours (single location) in May 2009. As part of Japan Hypertension Week, blood pressure screening events were held at Pacific League baseball games in Sapporo, Chiba and Fukuoka. 7,607 fans in Sapporo checked their blood pressure winning the Guinness World Record.
Roll Up Your Sleeves, Japan! is a campaign to raise awareness of high blood pressure and its effects including stroke and heart disease. In 2009 the campaign called for people to reduce their salt intake and speak with their doctor to maintain a healthy blood pressure.
Roll Up Your Sleeves, Japan! is presented by the Japan Hypertension Association and Japanese Society of Hypertension and supported by Novartis Pharma.
